We had a blast last weekend to have the opportunity of doing a 1000 plus food baskets, blankets, toys and other stuff to a 1000 + families in need around Ensenada Mexico. We do this every January 6th or the vlosest Saturday to it.

Yesterday, was the last clinic for the year 2023, and it is called the fiesta clinic, as not only we provide medical and dental services with the help of my angles from UCSD Flying Samaritans, but also passed out gifts of footware, clothing, toys, and also hanging a couple of piñatas loaded with candy and have the kids have their way. This year for the first time, the Flying Sams, also brought 12 pizzas and juice, it was really a day of celebration seeing those kids have it their way, I for one, could not be any happier

Thank God that we recovered our air compresor which was stolen, found out that our security/maintenance guy was the one who pawned it, this was a short version of a very long story, but resulted in getting the community together, and in 2 days, all the cleaning was updated, and of course he was fired. Today despite the fear of the Hurican we were operational and about 40 people were provided medical and dental services by the Flying Samaritans of the UCSD.

Our first clinic fund raiser event on April 22nd put together by our partner club of Ensenada Centenaria, who did a fantastic job by inviting many grillers to show case their food, and yours truly was one of the grillers doing persian beef and chicken kabob, which turned out to be very popular, while the survey results are not out yet but may have been the most popular.
Tickets were sold for 500 pesos, about $30 dls.sampling the variety, almost a taste of ensenada, and the beer was donated by Doble C., brewery and was selling for $5 dls a 12 Oz glass/cup. A VERY NICE EVENT.

Hello my friends, despite my post surgery difficulties, still made it to the Ensenada clinic to do some post rain and winds maintenace.

Some of routine challenges, that come about on a regular basis, primarily due to aging equipment, but somehow I seem to overcome these obstacles and get ready for the next challenges. At the end of the day, comes the reward of serving the needy. And I always remind my self of our modo " service above self", that is what gives me the energy to drive to Ensenada every weekend and do what is needed to have the clinic operational for the next service day.
