What an incredible day at the 19th annual Vista Festival of the Arts! This past weekend, Downtown Vista was buzzing with creativity, and we were thrilled to be a part of it.
Main Street featured an array of stunning student art, showcasing the immense talent within our community. Three stages hosted an impressive 36 different student performances throughout the day, featuring everything from Elementary Ukulele Clubs to captivating Ballet Folkloriko, wind, string, and drum ensembles, as well as dance and theater performances!
The Vista Education Foundation had the honor of giving away Chromebooks to 5 lucky VUSD students, empowering them with essential tools for their education journey.
A huge thank you goes out to our dedicated Board of Directors, many of whom volunteered their time to engage with parents and students and raise awareness for our cause. Our mission is to provide financial support for Vista Unified School District students, ensuring they have access to scholarships, arts programs, technology, and internships for a well-rounded education.
Special thanks for VEF President, Vicente Hinojosa, for his exceptional leadership and for being there to set up and support us throughout the day.
We also want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to fellow board member Susan Stuber, whose tireless dedication was the driving force behind the entire festival. VEF is truly fortunate to have such an extraordinary team.
Last, but certainly not least, Thank you to the school district, educators, and every individual who tirelessly supports our students. Their dedication is what makes events like these so impactful, and together, we're shaping a brighter future for our students!
