June's program was a continuation of January's Rosepath pattern! They learned the draft, and then got weaving so they could show off their successes and talk about their challenges over the last few months. Next month, Laurie K is going to show us one of her specialties: Fractal spinning!

We are looking forward to seeing your handwoven Rosepath samplers at the June guild meeting! Monica told us all about this weave structure (similar to twill) earlier this year and it’s almost time for show and tell! We are completing the sampler on Pages 16-17 of the Marguerite Porter Davison book to discover all of the different design possibilities we can achieve with the same warp threading.

If you are ever looking for an introduction to spinning or like some expert help, join one or both of the Squeekie Wheel groups. One meets the third Friday 10-12 and then other meets the fourth Friday 3:30-5:30 both at the Exeter Public Library. Or just stop to watch these masters at work!
