We just wrapped up another successful Basic Peer Support Class. Over the last two days, personnel from seven agencies came together to learn the foundational skills needed to support their coworkers through peer support. Some agencies are growing existing teams, while others are beginning to build programs of their own. It’s always encouraging to see the commitment to mental health and supporting one another.

With this class complete, there are now 18 more trained peer supporters ready to serve their agencies and communities. Thank you to 911 wellness project instructing the class and to Visalia Fire Department for providing us with a classroom. Without you all, none of this is possible.
