💧 A water shutoff takes away a family’s ability to cook dinner, bathe their children, and care for themselves at home. No one should lose those necessities because they cannot afford the bill.

Everyone has a right to , at any income. Protecting that right takes sustained federal investment in public water systems, rates that account for household income, and permanent federal water assistance.

Keeping water safe and affordable is a public responsibility. Our policies should ensure no family has to choose between water and other essentials.
