The love and support from our community has been truly heartwarming, and we cannot thank everyone enough!

🚨 PLEASE SHARE — STOLEN EQUIPMENT 🚨

Many in our Portuguese community know Laura Faria for the delicious filhos she makes for PPAV, Tipton, and Pismo Portuguese celebrations.❤️

Laura was loaded up and ready to head to Pismo Beach to make filhos at Portuguese Heritage Days this weekend when, around 11 PM last night, her truck and enclosed trailer were stolen from her driveway in Tulare.

Thankfully, the truck and trailer have since been recovered, but unfortunately, they were badly damaged. The catalytic converters were cut off, the truck and trailer were damaged, and everything inside the trailer was taken.

Because Laura was already packed for this weekend, the trailer contained all of her equipment and supplies used to make filhos—equipment she uses not only for PPAV, but to help carry on this tradition at Portuguese celebrations throughout our community.

We are asking everyone to please keep an eye out for any of her equipment being sold, dumped, or posted online. If you see anything that may be connected or have any information, please contact law enforcement.

Laura gives so much of her time to our Portuguese community, and it is heartbreaking to see this happen, especially just days before she was supposed to be serving filhos in Pismo. ❤️🇵🇹

We are looking for her custom made fryers, industrial mixer & stainless table, stand up warmer/proofing box on rollers, serving carts etc. your help in spreading this post is greatly appreciate.
