This weeks tip 💕: There are many ideas online about how to support black history month (support black owned businesses, read Martin Luther King’s “I Have a Dream” speech, virtual tours of the Civil Rights Museum, etc.)—look through some of these lists as a family and pick something to do together!

Happy Valentine’s Day! Celebrate your love of family and support Black History month!

This week come to the center and find out if you have any ancestors of African descent in your own family tree (DNA testing can be helpful here if they are not close relatives). Learn more about them or just black history in general. 💛

Happy Black History Month! We are so excited to celebrate black history this month!!! Each week we will be sharing an idea that will help you celebrate.

This week ask a friend or acquaintance of African descent to tell you about their family history. Offer to help them learn more about their heritage by helping them with their family history at home or in the Family Search Center! 💕

It’s a new year and the FHC has new hours for the youth of our Stake!

Every Monday after seminary 7:50-8:50am
And every Monday after school 3:30-5:30.

There’s always a light snack for those who participate ☺️.

The Family History Center is still under repair and will remained closed until further notice. Thank you all for your willingness to serve, we are excited for the time we can meet together again. ❤️

Unfortunately there has been some property damage to the Family History Center so it will not be open tomorrow. 😕 If all goes well we will be back next Tuesday! 😊 Thanks for the support and understanding.

“This is my Great Grandmother Bessie Bradfield. She was an amazing lady and faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Bessie passed away from cancer when my grandmother was just 8 years old. I love learning about the strong women that came before me!” -Abigail Edwards
