🎉 Big news from Campo Creativo! 🎨✨

Last night, we had the honor of awarding two $1,000 Creativity Grants to incredible educators at Redwood High School—made possible through our Pizza with a Purpose fundraiser in partnership with The Planing Mill and our community!

đź“š Rosalba Perez-Montes received a grant for her ""DĂ­a de los Mu***os Cultural Celebration"", a school-wide event that will engage over 400 students and staff in honoring Mexican heritage through art, tradition, and student creativity.

🖌️ Keenan Naylor was awarded for his ""Power Rangers: Inclusive Art & Leadership Project"", where Special Ed and General Ed students will co-lead monthly “Fun Friday” art sessions that center inclusion, creativity, and student voice.

We’re so proud to support educators who are building belonging, brilliance, and bold ideas on their campus. Stay tuned—there’s more to come.

Our board members, JJ & Ed were invited to attend the “Journey of a Farm Worker” fundraiser by Proteus, Inc. and featuring keynote speaker, Jose Eduardo Chavez.

We were moved and inspired by he and his mothers arduous journey from Oaxaca to the United States.

Thank you Jose and Proteus for this event and the insight into the paths many of our Central Valley families have taken to get here.

We look forward to many more events and collaborations!

Emilio used the $1,000 award he received on a new iPad Pro 12.9in 6th generation, & it's been transformative for his work. He’s doing such amazing creative work with the National Parks service, youth and his community.

Plus, Emilio is the young artist responsible for the Campo Creativo graphic and logo.

Along with the amazing work at the NPS, he is an artist for hire on commission.

Our 2023 Campo Creativo Creativity Student Grant Winner was, Emilio Gonzalez, a Visalia native, who now lives in the Seattle Area and will be attending Northern Arizona University in the Fall.

Emilio's family was on hand to see him receive the award and even the family cat was excited to see what all the hoopla was about.

Applications for the next round of Teacher and Student Creativity Grant's will be opening soon.

Feeling uninspired or stuck in a rut?

Join Eddie Campos Jr. & some friends for a book study on
"The Artist's Way" by Julia Cameron.

This book is a game-changer when it comes to unlocking your creativity and re-discovering joy in your art and the creative process. The Artist's Way provides practical exercises and tools to help you tap into your inner artist and overcome creative blocks.

We'll work through the book's 12-week program via a FB group (with option of Voxer), share our experiences and support each other along the way. Not only will you learn valuable techniques for nurturing your creativity, but you'll also make connections with other local creatives who share your passion.

Let's re-discover the joy of creating again, unleash our inner artists, and make something amazing together!
