Wow! A big thank you to Tulare Joint Union High School District for use of the Mission Oak Aquatic Center and to Tulare City Schools for helping get the word out. Over 75 Tulare youth ages 6 years to 14 years old came out and tried water polo for the first time. We are so proud of our SOVA high school players who came out to mentor and instruct our first time water polo players. Our SOVA high school instructors came from Lemoore High School, Sierra Pacific High School, Tulare Western High School, El Diamante High School and Mission Oak High School. It was so inspiring to see the Mission Oak Aquatic Center full of local Tulare families. 75% indicated it was their first time at the facility. We look forward to seeing water polo continue to grow in Tulare!
