Game Cancellations Due to Weather

Tonight's games are cancelled as MAHS is unable to make the trip to Viroqua tonight due to weather. We will have practice for the girl's team at the G.Y.M from 5:30-7. U14 boys will practice as planned at Bethlehem Baptist from 4-5:30. U16/JV boys will not practice. Sorry for the last minute changes. Have a great day.

We are excited to provide an opportunity for 3rd-5th grade kids to participate in an introductory basketball program through TCA.
Here are the details:

What: Fun basketball skills based learning for boys and girls ages 3rd grade to 5th grade. No scheduled games or attendance requirements.

Where: At the G.Y.M (S3637 Duncan Ln, Viroqua, WI 54665)

When: Select Fridays from 4-5 at the G.Y.M beginning Friday December 12th

Cost: Suggested $3 per session.

Basketball season is almost here!

Parent meeting will be from 6:30-7:30 on Thursday, October 23rd at the G.Y.M Online registration will also be available.

TCA is an independent Christian Sports Athletics club providing athletic opportunities for kids from 5th-12th grade.

During the meeting we will cover the following:
Meet the Coaches
TCA Rules, Guidelines, and Code of Conduct
Season Overview and Parent Q&A
Registration and SportsEngine app setup support

Online registration, team communication, scheduling will all be managed through the SportsEngine app. An email with the link to the registration will be sent out later this weekend.

This year at TCA we will have basketball available for the following ages:

Boys

14U (MS) - Must not be older than 14 as of 8/1/25 -

16U (JV) - Must not be older than 16 as of 8/1/25 -

Season Starts: 11/3 Practices 4-5:30 M,T,TH
18U (JV) - Must not be older than 18 as of 8/1/25
Coach Sylvan Goeke
Season Starts: 11/3 Practices 5:30 - 7 M,T,TH,F

Girls

18U - Must not be older than 18 as of 8/1/25

A younger girl's team may be formed if they are enough players and we can get coaches in places

Littles
We will have a casual fundamentals and skills based opportunity on select Friday's for 3rd to 6th grade led by Scott Benson.

It's fair week! If you are at the Vernon County Fair, stop by the TCA Foodstand (right next to the grandstand) for a tasty meal!

Some of the favorites include:
*** Ribeye Steak Sandwich on texas toast
*** Fresh cut french fries
*** Pie Bars with ice cream (homemade crust and filling!)

We are serving breakfast, too - starting at 7:00 am!

Fair week is almost here! Foodstand cleaning and set up is happening on Monday (Sept 8) from 10am-2pm.

Please join us! Many hands make light work. Come for an hour or the whole time.

The Vernon County Fair is just around the corner, so that means we need all hands on deck to help at the fair booth! If you haven't already done so, please sign up today!

This is the largest fundraiser for TCA and helps to cover gym costs, referees and keeps program fees lower.

There are slots for kids and adults. These can be filled not just my TCA families, but also your friends, grandparents, etc. Get your friends and teammates together to fill up a shift!
