Viroqua Bathhouse Welcome Center

Yesterday marked the ground breaking (well actually mortar chipping as the ground was broken in the 1930's) officially marking the launch of the Welcome Center restoration process.
On hand were Aaron Aslan, Steve Willis, Christina Dollhausen, Karen Innes, Jean Driscoll, Cyndy Hubbard, Randy Skinner, Missy Hughes, Dan Moen of Artisan Preservation and Marc Zettler of Zettler Design Studio.
A HUGE thank you to everyone who made this possible via support, donations, suggestions and a positive attitude that this could come to fruition and benefit our community.

We'll be slinging pizzas for the Viroqua Welcome Center tonight at Sittin Pretty Farm ! Come say hello, grab a pizza, listen to the awesome Tim Eddy and Lone Goat Rodeo and get the latest breaking news for the bathhouse renovation.....ground breaking later this month!!!

The green is back in the hills and we are firing up the pizza oven for another season of fundraising for local non profits and charities. Join us for our opener tomorrow Friday May 9, 5-8pm at S5990 Chamberlain Ridge Ln, Viroqua. Benefactor: Viroqua Welcome Center. Live Music: Tim Eddy and Lone Goat Rodeo. We do online staggered pre event ordering to ensure you get a pizza and that your wait is less.

🟢 Initial floor plan & architectural design completed (spolier: it's BEAUTIFUL! We will share it soon!)
🟢 Project awarded WEDC CDI grant - thank you WEDC for your continued support of rural communities!
🟢 Construction Bids Received - we like what we are seeing, close to initial estimates
🟡 Final fundraising needed: $60,000 to meet final bid to start buildout
