Hello!
It is time to begin planning for the 2025 Vernon County Fair Little Britches Dairy Show.
I am looking for businesses or individuals to contribute to the success of this annual tradition that is so important to the youth that participate, the parents, grandparents, friends, and neighbors that enjoy the day at the fair supporting their kids. We hope that you will continue to support this show, by financial contribution or by supplying goodie bag items.
Each year, we have over 100 young people under the age of 8 bring their calf to the Vernon County Fair, parade it through the show ring, and answer some fun questions from the "judge". This is done in front of a standing room only crowd year after year. Each child receives a Rossette Ribbon from the Vernon Co Fair and a goody bag full of donations and purchased dairy related goodies and a t-shirt for their participation. It is always a joy to see kids light up as they receive all their goodies!
Each sponsor is read off to the crowd during the show, listed on a flyer in each goody bag, and listed on flyers in the Hansen Arena during the show.
*Businesses interested in helping to support the purchase of the t-shirts are asked to donate at least $250 to have their business logo on the shirt and must notify Gail no later than Tuesday, August 26th to ensure enough time for printing of shirts.
*A Financial contribution can be mailed to Little Britches Dairy Show, c/o Gail Klinkner S7304A State Highway 82, Viroqua, WI 54665 (by Tuesday, September 2nd)
*We ask that if you prefer to donate an item for the gift bags, that you provide at least 110 items and arrange delivery to Gail no later than Friday, September 5th.
If you would like to help with the event, it is always fun to have extra hands during the event to help control the flow and make sure the kids all get their time to shine!
