Youth will make a no-bake cookie recipe and will learn two styles of cupcake decorating with frosting. In addition to these, youth will also have a chance to hear from Jayne Anderson, Youth Foods Supt at the fair, and learn how to get their foods entries ready to exhibit and what judges look for. The fair has no-bake cookie entries in both Cloverbud and general junior classes. Junior classes also include cake decorating, etc. Youth will have plenty of opportunities to practice and while able to take some items home, most of the cookies and cupcakes will be packaged and brought to Vernon Manor for Valentines Day for staff and residents, as a service outreach from Vernon County 4-H. The cost is free. *Please note that no-bake cookies often are made with peanut butter.

We are SO excited to offer this opportunity! What an experience to share! This presentation is open to anyone, so spread far and wide! Genesee and Hazel Goltz, Vernon County 4-H members had the opportunity to travel to Texas to send their aunt, Audrey Powers, off on Blue Origins' recent trip to space. Register to tune in for a presentation from our 4-H youth on their experience, as well as ask questions with Ms. Powers!
