A big THANK YOU to our volunteers, who in 2025 provided over 675 hours of support! Every week amazes us with all who come in to help during our work sessions. The amount of dairy and fresh produce that these folks sort in a few hours is incredible and their efforts are essential to our program.

Just a reminder that December is the month for Community Hunger Solutions to receive the round-up dollars from Viroqua Food Co-op's Give Where You Live (GWYL) program. Their support also includes 1% of the sales on the second Wednesday of the month (12/10).

When shopping at the , please ask your cashier to "round-up for Community Hunger Solutions!"

They spent a week, here in the Driftless, learning about our local food systems, native ecology and non-profits, all while lending a hand along the way. As we begin another growing season, Community Hunger Solutions would like to extend a big THANK YOU to Harmony Valley Farm! Not only is the quality of their donated produce exceptional, but the volume, which exceeded 40,400 lbs in 2024, is a critical resource for our partnering food banks and meal sites. A big thank you to members of the Organic Valley QA team, for your help in the CHS warehouse last week! Their group, along with CHS volunteers helped process nearly 500 gallons of dairy in a few hours. These donations will be distributed to partnering food pantries and meal sites in coming weeks.
