🏆 Brianna Bremer – for her stunning recycled book piece titled "Cosmos." Brianna transformed unused books into a powerful representation of the universe, celebrating both art and sustainability.

The book festival is this Saturday, April 26. Rest up, we’ve planned a big day of celebrating reading, writing, creativity, and community. We know that you will be faced with some hard choices about which presentations to attend, but we tried to program something for everyone while keeping all events free to attendees.

You might remember William Kent Krueger when he was a very popular part of Vernon County Reads a few years back, and we are very glad he’s coming back for another visit. Kent will be discussing how important books are to him and others as they navigate the chaos of life at 3 p.m. in The Historic Temple Theatre. There will be chance to ask questions and have your books signed by this New York Times bestselling author after the presentation.
