"The library's summer events and initiatives would not have been possible without the help of our Teen Volunteers. They shared their entire summer with us, accumulating 519 volunteer hours. The library has partnered with the Great Lakes Aquarium in Duluth for library patrons to checkout one aquarium pass that’s good for 7 days and up to 5 people to use per trip!

All you have to do is bring your Arrowhead Library Card to the front desk and see if the pass is available to check out. Use the aquarium website to see hours of operation to best plan your trip. Parking fees not covered. https://buff.ly/LOBIENG

📖MINNESOTA LIBRARIES READ TOGETHER

Come celebrate all things library on Friday, September 18th! The Minnesota Libraries Read Together is an event to help promote and let the public experience one of the city’s greatest treasures☺️

There will be many cozy places to sit and curl up with a good book or magazine. We also have FREE public WiFi and internet computers if you want to get some work done or print something off!

The public library is an AWESOME resource and we hope this event brings some new people into our building to experience how amazing libraries are!

🍂Explore the great Minnesota outdoors this fall with your library card!

We’ve collaborated with the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources to provide free, seven-day state park passes for you to check out through the Minnesota State Parks and Trails Library Program. This pass covers the vehicle entry fee to any state park or recreation area, making it easier to visit a new destination or an old favorite. To check out a pass, come to the main desk and see if one of the passes is available, we can then checkout it out using your Arrowhead Library Card.

When you get to the state park, make sure the pass is clearly displayed on your vehicle dashboard so park staff can check for the expiration date. Passes only cover the vehicle entrance fee, so if you’d like to camp, reservations will need to be made and paid for separately. Finally, when you are finished, just recycle the pass!
