Anyone thinking the weeds are not too bad this year …. Think again. This was cleanup after the storm late Sunday night. Heavy large collections.

Grab your friends and family and join the 2026 Sand Lake 4th of July Flotilla!

Meet at 2 pm on Saturday at Voyageur’s Resort, then proceed clockwise around the lake.

All are welcome, so decorate your boat or just come as you are and have fun! It’s kindly requested that water balloons be left at home to prevent debris in the lake.

Let’s hope for great weather, and if y’all can’t join the parade, we hope you wave and enjoy from the dock!

Greetings from the Sand Lake Association Board!

Please join us for our Annual Meeting on Saturday, 2026-06-27, from 10 a.m. to noon at the Sand Lake Chapel.

Our guest speaker is Jeff Forester, Executive Director of Minnesota Lakes & Rivers Advocates and Board Member of the Minnesota Coalition of Lake Associations. He will discuss his organizations' work and how comparable lake associations operate. Visit their sites for more info:

W**d Harvesting Program discussion points:
- New in leadership roles: Chad Lexvold and Brian Grondahl. We welcome their addition, and look forward to their ongoing support to the existing team!
- Volunteer call: Seeking new and returning help. Training/refreshers available.
- Needs: Harvester operators, barge workers, and especially "ground crew" for trailer offloading.
- Misc support roles and tasks
- Sign-up: See Bob Geiselman at the meeting; thanks to Bob for coordinating!

Election of new board members - all are welcome and encouraged to join

The 4th of July lands on a Saturday this year, so hopefully we’ll have good weather and an awesome turnout!
