A big thank you to the MN North-Hibbing Campus cadets for taking the time to invite us and for participating in practicing mock interviews! 💙

Practicing trauma-informed interviewing is such an important part of preparing for a career in law enforcement, especially when working with survivors of sexual assault. Creating a safe, respectful, and supportive environment can make a meaningful difference in a survivor’s experience.

We are so proud of each of you for putting in the time to learn, practice, and grow. We have no doubt you will do great things in your future careers and make a positive impact in the communities you serve. We’re excited to see all that you accomplish! 👏💙

We are looking to add more 7th-12th graders to our YUP leader meetings, held every third Wednesday of the month. We were looking to start meetings today, but need more youth volunteer interest.

We spent last Saturday at Range Iron Pride connecting with community members, enjoying great food and entertainment, and sharing our services. So much fun!!

We had fun at both the Hibbing and Virginia National Night Out 2026 Events yesterday.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our tables, and extra thanks to all who showed support to victims and survivors of sexual violence by adding a "helping hand" to our banner. See everyone next year!!

Come see us tonight in Hibbing and Virginia for National Night Out 2026!

National Night Out is Hibbing Police Department's annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live.

National Night Out enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community.

Join HPD and us between 4 and 7 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 4, at Bennett Park! Free fun, food and activities for all!
