We are looking to add more 7th-12th graders to our YUP leader meetings, held every third Wednesday of the month. We were looking to start meetings today, but need more youth volunteer interest.

We spent last Saturday at Range Iron Pride connecting with community members, enjoying great food and entertainment, and sharing our services. So much fun!!

We had fun at both the Hibbing and Virginia National Night Out 2026 Events yesterday.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our tables, and extra thanks to all who showed support to victims and survivors of sexual violence by adding a "helping hand" to our banner. See everyone next year!!

Come see us tonight in Hibbing and Virginia for National Night Out 2026!

National Night Out is Hibbing Police Department's annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live.

National Night Out enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community.

Join HPD and us between 4 and 7 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 4, at Bennett Park! Free fun, food and activities for all!

Last week, we were honored to recognize the service of Deputy Newton and Deputy Thorne with the St. Louis County Sheriff's Office by presenting them each with a Certificate of Appreciation from our agency, as well as letters expressing our appreciation for all they do.

Their compassion and dedication to trauma-informed care has truly made a difference in the lives of individuals we serve within our communities. Strong partnerships between law enforcement and victim advocacy are essential to creating an environment where survivors feel heard, believed, and supported through the entire process. We are deeply grateful for the work they both do and look forward to continued collaboration.
