Its been a great start to the year for Friends of the Greenhouse! We have just finished updating our Bylaws (please see comments for our update) and have expanded the capacity of our board this year! We wanted to share our updates with our community and would like to welcome our newest board members to join us in supporting Olcott Greenhouse! Please welcome Sam Cakelake, Brandy Hausladen, and Heather Cundiff!

🌿💚What an Enviable Evening at Our Annual Green Envy Party!💚🌿

We kicked things off with an array of delicious snacks. Let me tell you, nobody could resist the glorious charcuterie platter prepared by Chef Trevor, delicious cookies and super yummy "frog balls." Of course, it wouldn't have been a proper celebration without all the chatter and children's laughter echoing through the air. Good music played softly in the background, making it the perfect soundtrack for our joyous mingling.

But the highlight of the evening? A massive shoutout to Loon Song CUUPS for providing a beautiful blessing ceremony to celebrate the equinox! 🌅✨ It was a genuine heartfelt way to connect with nature and each other. It was like the universe itself paused to listen—all while we surrounded ourselves with positive vibes and spruced-up intentions!

All in all, the Green Envy Party was full of fun, laughter, and togetherness! We planted seeds—not just in our crafts, but in our hearts and friendships too. 🌍❤️

Thank you to everyone who showed up and made this evening sparkle💚🌱

What a wonderful way to welcome the light!
A huge thank you to everyone who joined us at the Olcott Park Greenhouse for our annual meeting and Winter Solstice celebration. It was a really nice evening filled with festive holiday decor, music, and plenty of delicious cookies. 🍪🎶
We are so grateful for our community’s continued support as we reflected on our achievements this past year and looked ahead to an exciting 2026.
