Thanks to everyone who came out for our first Nerd Networking event at CHAIR in downtown Virginia 🙌

We got a lot of great feedback on how to best build this monthly mini get together into something great, played some new games, and met some new friends 😁

Catch us at the next one, and join our Iron Range Nerd Networking group to collaborate on games with others and meet new people who love the same stuff you do in the area 🤙

In lieu of the convention this summer we do have something cooking‼ We will be hosting a Nerd Jeopardy competition on August 6th at Minnesota Discovery Center along with Hello Range. The winning 3 teams will receive prizes, the first-place prize featuring tickets to Excalibur Con 2026 😁

Signups are available now and are $5 per team of up to 3 participants.

**Other things worth noting**
On the event page we will be releasing weekly hints as to some of the categories that will be used.
During the competition, other teams will be able to watch but cannot interfere with the competing players or risk disqualification.
Games will be made available for teams in queue or spectators to play and food will be available for purchase.

Make sure to share this with your friends & your gaming groups - categories will cover distinct aspects of comics, anime, video games, and more so you'll want your nerdiest friends if you want to win 😉

We will not be holding Range FanCon this summer unfortunately, but that does NOT mean that we are done‼
We will be taking the time to restructure, organize, and prepare (believe it or not, running a convention is a big task and can take a toll on a small team 💯).

However, we don't want to leave our fellow nerds and fandom followers out in the cold, so we will be having small events throughout the year for gaming, Nerd Jeopardy, and more as we move forward 😁

Happy New Year‼
We've been radio silent for a little bit and will address that soon, but for now we wanted to announce some mini events that we have coming up for our local nerds who want to get together for some gaming 😁

We will be running some game nights, along with Nerd Jeopardy (more to come on that) at The Iron House in Hibbing‼

We'll be releasing additional information about each of the events this week & we hope to see you there for some TTRPG games, trading card games, and whatever else we whip up this year 😉
