School is in session – and you know what, you can still register your little one for one of our Head Start programs.
Head Start enrollment is guided by a family friendly philosophy to enroll families with the greatest need in a timely manner. One way the program does that is by allowing students to apply to and begin Head Start any time of the year. For instance, if a child turns 3 years old in October, the family could enroll the child starting November.
Arrowhead Head Start has classes in Babbitt, Chisholm, Eveleth, Hermantown, Hibbing, Proctor, Two Harbors and Virginia. We also offer home-based services.

In 1990, President George H. W. Bush proclaimed October “Energy Awareness Month.” Designation of the month is intended to highlight the importance of reliable, affordable, and efficient energy systems.
To help keep everyone in our community safe and warm during Minnesota’s winter months, AEOA offers energy assistance to those who qualify.
Energy Assistance applications are now available.

📧 If you received Energy Assistance last year, you will automatically receive an application in the mail.

🌐Help bridge the digital divide by becoming a Digital Navigator in the Lincoln Park neighborhood of Duluth.
🙋🏼 Ecolibrium3 is recruiting volunteers to become peer mentors to help people age 50+ build tech confidence and connection, through their AARP Senior Planet program.
📅Sign up for virtual volunteer training sessions hosted on Tuesdays or Thursdays beginning on Oct. 5.
📍Training is offered virtually. Once trained, Digital Navigators will offer in person classes at the LNPK Community Hub- 2014 W 3rd Street, Duluth.
