VCMM friends and riders! we are all set for the parade this Friday. plan on getting together around 10:30ish AM in front of the icehouse to get your bikes and rigs decorated.
and remember to show off your VCMM shirts from rides past.

These grants are designed to help individuals and groups organize clean-ups, trail maintenance work days and other small conservation projects.

well dang. i just saw the news that long time friend Lowell Webb from Soquel has passed on. i met Lowell the first time that i rode with the VCMM. he was also a member of the Phantom Duck of The Desert organization where he put his convictions to test (and prevailed) when he was arrested by the Bureau of Land Management during a protest of the cancelation of the Barstow to Vegas race.

Virginia City’s 4th of July is pure Americana all day and night, with streets decked in red, white, and blue. Throughout the day, Virginia City offers an authentic, home-town Independence Day experience with a parade, the David John and the Comstock Cowboys Second Amendment Concert, old-west shootouts, shopping, train rides and of course the incredible fireworks display at dark! Check out the full town itinerary below to see what VC offers this Fourth of July! 🎇

4th of July on the Comstock activities include:
12 p.m. – 4th of July Parade ✨
6 p.m. – David John & the Comstock Cowboys Free Second Amendment Concert at the Bucket of Blood Saloon parking lot.
Dusk – Fireworks Extraordinaire 🎆
Throughout the weekend, the V&T Railroad will be running its steam trains.🚂

VCMM 2024 was a great success! it was so great to see old friends that we haven't seen in a while, and especially loved having so many new faces joining our group. Thank You so much for coming and getting sunburned and dirty for a great cause!
