Tues Jan 19th - Why put it in the land fill if you can recycle it? If you collect your glass for recycling, put it in a labeled tote with your name behind Clear Creek Realty off the alley by the shed, it will be taken to 4 Corners Recycling on the 20th. Your totes can be picked up where you dropped them off on the 21st. Its FREE so why not?

Thanks for liking Recycle MadCo! Back to info for reducing, re-purposing & recycling. 4 Corners Recycling (werecyclemt.com at 357 Recycle Way, Bozeman, MT 59718) has a FREE glass drop off bin for recycling (normally $7 for 50lbs & .10/lb above 50lbs) at their location just north of 4 Corners while closed due to Covid-19. Clear Creek Realty will be dropping off glass this Thursday... so drop off any clean glass, no caps/lids, you would like recycled by Wed nite, Dec 2nd in the blue tote in back of CCR office off the Alley. Also let's try to get a MadCo bi-annual glass drop off day going in 2021!

REDUCE Merchant info for Sheridan. At Charles Walter in Sheridan, one can purchase Dishwasher Soap or Pods in thin plastic bags or thin cardboard Packages Instead of the Big Plastic containers. Same for Laundry soap in thin plastic bag versus LARGE Plastic Bottle. Please support local vendors when possible to reduce plastic in our landfills. Thank you.

Let us work to REDUCE plastic because: it is the right thing to do since plastic outlives us by 100s to 1000s of years, it is not always necessary with options available today & it costs an enormous amount of taxpayers money to build new landfills. Let us REDUCE unnecessary trash. Let's share ideas in the next few weeks on How to Reduce the amount of consumer plastic. I will try to figure out this weekend how to share submitted comments to this new page...hahaha Let's go Madison County!!!
