Meet Candy! 🍬🐾

Candy is a sweet 14-year-old Yorkie who suddenly lost her owner and is now looking for a loving home where she can spend her golden years feeling safe, comfortable, and cherished.

Although Candy is very thin, she has a healthy appetite and plenty of energy. She is currently eating a special veterinarian-recommended diet that can be purchased from pet retailers. Candy has a wonderfully spirited personality—she knows what she wants and what she doesn’t, and she is not shy about letting you know!

Candy is a joy to walk and is not reactive toward other dogs or her surroundings. She gets along well with other dogs, although her experience with cats is unknown. She enjoys cuddles and affection when she is in the mood and will let you know when she is ready for attention.

Candy is crate-trained and can sleep through the night in a crate, although she prefers not to be crated. She now sleeps comfortably on the bed with her foster mom and the other dogs and does very well.

We believe Candy is deaf because she does not respond to her name or most sounds. She communicates best through eye contact, gestures, and vibrations and responds well when people make sure she can see them.

Candy appears to be house-trained, although she may have occasional age-related accidents. A consistent potty routine, doggy diapers, and p*e pads can help manage them.

This precious senior girl deserves a patient, compassionate family who will give her the comfort, kindness, and love she needs for the rest of her life. Candy still has so much personality—and so much love—to share. ❤️

🐾 Meet Ranger! 🐾

Ranger is a sweet 10-year-old gentleman who is looking for a forever home where he can spend his golden years being the wonderful companion he is. ❤️

He’s neutered, up to date on his shots, well-behaved, and gets along great with both kids and other dogs. Ranger is the kind of dog who doesn’t need much—just a loving family, a comfy spot to relax, and someone to share his days with. 🏡🐶

At 10 years old, Ranger has so much love left to give. He would make an amazing companion for someone looking for a calm, loyal, easygoing best friend.

We have several exciting adoptions to announce! We are so over the moon right now!

I believe we already announced Marley’s adoption, but we now have photo evidence! 📸 Look at that beautiful family!

Pancake, the last of all of our litters of pups, found his forever home! Last, but certainly not least! He looks so happy with his new family!

Minnie was adopted by her wonderful foster parents. Her mom has never owned a dog before! Can you believe it? But Minnie was the perfect fit for a first time dog mama! AND they DNA tested her and found out she is a purebred Shih Tzu! Amazing!

Bella’s new mom met us randomly at a Furry Friends Yoga event back in July. She was originally looking for a puppy, but held off at the time because she would be traveling. She contacted us again recently and we realized Bella would be the perfect companion for her! And we were right! We love being right. 😉

Thank you to all our amazing fosters and adopters! We appreciate you opening your hearts and homes to these incredible pups! 🥰

Our pups (and humans) had a great time at Puppy Yoga today with Furry Friends Yoga! It was a gorgeous day for it at The Shack at the VB Oceanfront! The pups got so many scritches and lots and lots of lovins! Hopefully someone met their new best friend today! 🥰
