Hundreds came together right here in Virginia Beach with one shared goal: to Crush Cancer 🧡

Yesterday at the Cavalier Golf & Yacht Club, our community showed up in a big way by riding, supporting, and standing together for those impacted by cancer. Every mile, every dollar, and every person there made a real difference.

We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who participated, donated, and helped make this event so powerful. This is what happens when a community rallies around something bigger than itself. 🧡

Today’s the day. It’s go time!

Today, we ride with purpose for the fighters, the survivors, and the loved ones we carry with us every mile. Every push of the pedal helps fund rare cancer research and brings us one step closer to crushing cancer for good.

Bring your energy, your heart, and the determination to make this ride about more than just a workout. Clip in, turn it up, and make some noise for a cause that matters.

Good luck to everyone riding today. We’re in this together, and we couldn’t do it without you.

Meet our 2026 Spokesperson, Kevin Johnson.

After 31 years as a Virginia Beach public school teacher, Kevin Johnson’s life took an unexpected turn. A near-fatal biking accident in 2020 led to facial reconstruction, followed by a diagnosis of chronic leukemia and later, a rare eye cancer. But instead of stepping back, Kevin leaned in.

As co-leader of Virginia’s chapter of Man Up to Cancer, he is helping break the stigma that men should face cancer alone. When he stepped into leadership, the group had just eight members. Today, it has grown to more than 50 men across the Commonwealth, forming a strong brotherhood built on support, honesty, and resilience.

Kevin also helped launch the region’s first in-person support group at Sentara Brock Cancer Center, connecting grassroots community with clinical care and giving men access to connection, mental health support, and hope. As a proud member of the LGBTQ+ community, he continues to expand outreach and create more inclusive, affirming spaces for cancer support.

Kevin’s story is a powerful reminder that strength is not staying silent. It is showing up for yourself and for others. Because of Kevin, more men in Virginia are facing cancer together and pushing forward as a team.
