While on our group ride through the Virginia countryside, our pack came up on a group of bicyclists. I was bringing up the rear, and we followed them for 2 miles—but it felt like 100!
Finally, I broke formation and rode up front to see why we weren’t passing. Our road captain had a grin from ear to ear… and one look ahead told me everything I needed to know. 😂
I eased into a spot next to him and enjoyed the view for the next 10 miles. No complaints! 🏍️🤣
