❗️ SCHEDULED GATE CLOSURE ❗️

Saturday, August 1st - NAS Oceana's main gate (Post 1) will be closed from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. The installation's back gate (Post 2) will be open during that time frame.

Additionally Dam Neck Annex’s main gate (Post 16) will be closed from 4 p.m. - 6 p.m. Please use the back gate (Post 17) off of Sandbridge Road as an alternate route.

Heads up NEX shoppers! NEX locations at NAS Oceana and Dam Neck Annex will have adjusted opening and closing hours from July 19-21 to accommodate annual inventory.

See below adjusted schedule before you head out. All other locations and dates not listed below will operate on normal business hours.

Dam Neck Annex’s main gate (Post 16) is scheduled to be closed Sunday July 12 from 5-7 p.m. Please use Dam Neck Annex’s back gate (Post 17) during this temporary closure.

On July 14, NAS Oceana will conduct a large-scale emergency response exercise. Those on or near the installation may see simulated smoke, hear sirens, or notice emergency vehicles near the base. This regularly scheduled training is designed to further prepare NAS Oceana and community partners to respond to mishaps and security incidents. This exercise is not in response to any specific threat.
