🐾Pet Spotlight Sunday🐾

This weeks pet is the pretty girl Millie. Thank you M&M for sharing this sweet girl with us! Keep reading for Millie’s story. ⬇️

“Millie came to our family after rescuing her from VB animal control. She was just a puppy at that time and now is one year old. Her favorite activity is playing with the hose out back. She loves chasing the water and performs tricks. She loves to say hi to anything or everyone who approaches her. Millie likes the beach but so far is shy about swimming in the ocean”

Be sure to say hi to Millie if you see her around the neighborhood! DM us your pet for a chance to be featured. Would love to see some cats, birds, hermit crabs, lizards, etc. 😎

✨Throwback Thursday”

This weeks entry is so nostalgic, I feel like I’m there! The CBBT being built in the background must have been quite a sight to see. However the “Beauties” were the real stars of the show! Read below to see what Tara Faircloth shared with us.

“This family photo of my grandmother and her sister and cousins was taken on Chics Beach in 1961 - you can see the beginnings of the Bay Bridge Tunnel in the background. My grandfather had written “The beauties of Chesapeake Beach” on the back of the photo 💞 They were on the beach near the Morton’s Rd beach access My grandparents built their beach house in 1968 right on the beach near that same Morton’s Rd access and my family still lives there.”
