Join us for some family fun on June 7th for Art in the Park at False Cape State Park! We will be decoupaging seashells! No experience necessary. All supplies & instruction is included. $20 per person. Includes an open-air tram ride into the park. You must register by June 4th. You won't want to miss this fun and creative event! Memorial Day Craft & Tram Ride at False Cape State Park! Looking for a fun, family-friendly activity for Memorial Day? Join the Friends of False Cape State Park on Monday, May 25th (1:00PM - 4:30PM) for our Art in the Park FUNdraiser! We will be learning the art of decoupage to turn seashells into a beautiful trinket dish, ring holder, gift tag, or ornament. It is beginner-friendly and fun for all ages. It includes an open-air tram ride into the park. All supplies and instruction is included. The cost is $25/per person for 1 seashell and $30/per person for 2 seashells. All proceeds support the Friends of False Cape State Park and is used to support FCSP. Tram space is strictly limited- you must register by Thursday, May 21 to attend, so don't delay - sign-up today! It's a great day to be at False Cape State Park! The trails and campsites are open and today starts the activities! Lend a hand with the self-guided Beach Clean-Up Event going on throughout Earth Week. Every balloon or piece of plastic removed helps protect local wildlife - like the sea turtles! 📣 Please be aware of our upcoming closure! 📣

‼️ NOTICE OF TEMPORARY CLOSURE ‼️

Both False Cape State Park and Back Bay National Wildlife Refuge will be closed from April 13 through noon on April 17 for aerial treatment of spongy moths. This work is part of an ongoing regional effort to protect forest health and reduce the impacts of this invasive species.

For the safety of visitors, all public access will be restricted during this period, including trails, campsites, and facilities. The beach will be accessible during this time, however interior access to the park will be prohibited. The park will reopen by 12 p.m. on April 17, once treatment operations are complete.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation as we work to protect the natural resources of our coastal ecosystem.

There's snow at False Cape State Park!!! ❄️⛄️You don't see this very often.

Due to weather conditions, the Visitor Center will be closed Saturday and Sunday. Tours and interpretive programs are also cancelled through the weekend.
