These amazing things are called Knitted Knockers. They’re little prosthetic knitted breast forms for women who’ve had mastectomies— a really special way to help people feel comfortable and confident after going through breast cancer treatment. We’ve been donating them to the Knitted Knocker Organization for about two years now.

We’re thrilled to be a tiny part of huge milestone: the Knitted Knocker Organization just hit ONE MILLION donations! Our small contribution is a testament to the power of community and the dedication of our volunteers. We are deeply honored to be a part of such a meaningful and impact project, offering support and hope to those navigating the challenges of breast cancer.

So proud of our Common Threads group! 🧶

Thank you for inviting us to participate in James Monroe Elementary's Pink Out Day!

Pink Out Day at James Monroe Elementary!

What an incredible day filled with education, inspiration, and community spirit! Students and staff came together to raise awareness for breast cancer and learn valuable health tips. Vendors provided insights on self-exams, nutrition, and staying active with fun boxing sessions.

A special highlight was their surprise for Ms. Tracey Goldsby, James Monroes' amazing Speech Language Pathologist, who bravely strutted around the gym with Family Engagement Specialist, Ms. LaToya Murphy, during their very own survivor walk! Their journey is a testament to strength and resilience.

Thank you to everyone who participated and supported this important cause! Let's continue to spread awareness and take care of our health, together!
