😃 Just picked up another round of our Coloring Books printed and donated by our friends at Hackworth in Chesapeake. That’s (300) more Coloring Books for (300) more individual young humans who are dealing with a variety of challenges in the hospital. Thank you to Hackworth for believing in our mission!

😃 We met two different parents at this year’s NAS Oceana Air Show whose children received a ‘Smiley Pack’ at CHKD recently. Here’s Sophia whose mom Betsy shared that she got a pack and it made a positive difference in her day 🙂. It means a lot to us when people come up and share something so personal, share about their child, and thank us for our little mission. We also got a nice individual donation that same weekend so that was awesome!

Thanks to everyone who makes this possible and thank you to the awesome CHKD Child Life Staff for getting these directly in the hands of the patients who might need them the most. Also big thank you to Liberty Tax, Hackworth Graphics, Virginia Beach Printing, and all of our individual donors who have directly supported our mission. 😃 Getting the next round of Smiley Pack donations ready for CHKD tomorrow.. we got bumped a couple of days because of the Nor’easter but that’s ok! We are still going to make our donation this week and we are super glad about that.
