Lambda Alpha Sigma Lambda (ΛΑΣΛ) is ECPI's local chapter of the National American Criminal Justice Association, Lambda Alpha Epsilon. Located in the 4th region of the United States, our mission is to direct students who primarily enrolled in Criminal Justice program and those enrolled at ECPI University to become better acquainted with current American Criminal Justice systems on the federal, stat

e, county, city and local levels; in order to better prepare those students who strive to pursue a career in the criminal justice field after graduation. The sword symbolizes the "discrimination of thought." So for the club, our sword cuts away ignorance. The laurel wreath symbolizes peace and protection and it's interwoven with a ribbon that displays our country's colors. The scales of justice symbolizes Criminal Justice and supports the idea of fairness.

ΛΑΣΛ (Lambda Alpha Sigma Lambda) means "Let Actions Speak Louder."

NOW HIRING! The Chesapeake Sheriff's Office will offer pre-employment physical agility testing for the position of Deputy Trainee on Saturday, January 20th, 2018, at 9:00 a.m. at the Chesapeake Law Enforcement Training Academy. Those who successfully complete the physical agility test will then take the written LESI test at 1:00 p.m.
Interested individuals must register by January 18th. To register call (757) 382-6159, option #1. Registration is accepted Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
