Bogdan is 7 years old. He loves to draw, has a brother, and entered a Ukrainian orphanage after the war changed the course of his childhood.

Looking at that smile, it's easy to imagine what a week at Camp Dreamland means for a child like him—new friends, outdoor adventures, creative activities, endless laughter, and the freedom to simply be a kid.

This summer, nearly 300 children are hoping for that same opportunity. ⛰️

Meet Victoria. 💙💛

Victoria is 6 years old. She loves to paint, has two sisters, and came to the orphanage after the war changed everything for her family.

This August, Victoria hopes to attend Camp Dreamland—a place where children impacted by war can spend a week simply being kids again. A place filled with laughter, friendship, creativity, games, and the chance to create happy memories that don't revolve around conflict and uncertainty.

Victoria is one of nearly 300 children waiting for sponsorship this summer.

The cost to sponsor one child is $596, covering transportation, lodging, meals, activities, and the care needed to make camp possible.

For children like Victoria, camp is more than a week away. It's a reminder that they are seen, valued, and not forgotten.

This August, Frontier Horizon will once again travel to Poland and Ukraine to serve displaced Ukrainian children through two unforgettable experiences: our annual Poland Mission Trip and Camp Dreamland.

For many of these children, life has been marked by uncertainty, displacement, and loss. Yet for one week, they get to laugh, play, build friendships, and simply be kids again.

After months of planning, hard work, generosity, and faith, the El Cristal Feeding Center officially opened its doors. 🥳

What began as an idea to help ensure children in El Cristal have consistent access to nutritious meals has become a reality. This new center will serve approximately 76+ children and create a place where families can gather, connect, and build hope for the future. ✨

Standing alongside the children, families, volunteers, and community leaders who made this possible was a powerful reminder that lasting change happens when people come together with a shared purpose.

Today we celebrate.

Tomorrow, the work continues.

This week, several members of Frontier Horizon are traveling to Nicaragua for the grand opening of the El Cristal Community Garden & Feeding Center.

What was once an empty hillside is now a beautiful new space where children and families will gather for meals, connection, care, and opportunity. From carrying in refrigerators and setting up the kitchen… to seeing children already filling the tables with laughter and conversation… this project is coming to life because of a community that chose to care.

This is more than a building.
It’s a reminder to vulnerable children and families that they are seen, valued, and deeply loved.
