After months of planning, hard work, generosity, and faith, the El Cristal Feeding Center officially opened its doors. 🥳

What began as an idea to help ensure children in El Cristal have consistent access to nutritious meals has become a reality. This new center will serve approximately 76+ children and create a place where families can gather, connect, and build hope for the future. ✨

Standing alongside the children, families, volunteers, and community leaders who made this possible was a powerful reminder that lasting change happens when people come together with a shared purpose.

To every donor, sponsor, volunteer, and supporter who helped make this day possible: thank you. This building exists because of your generosity.

Today we celebrate.

Tomorrow, the work continues.

This week, several members of Frontier Horizon are traveling to Nicaragua for the grand opening of the El Cristal Community Garden & Feeding Center.

What was once an empty hillside is now a beautiful new space where children and families will gather for meals, connection, care, and opportunity. From carrying in refrigerators and setting up the kitchen… to seeing children already filling the tables with laughter and conversation… this project is coming to life because of a community that chose to care.

This is more than a building.
It’s a reminder to vulnerable children and families that they are seen, valued, and deeply loved.

Four years. 🇺🇦

Four years since the invasion of Ukraine changed the lives of millions of children overnight.

Before the war, we welcomed Ukrainian children into homes and communities through hosting — giving them a chance to expand their horizons. That exchange isn’t possible right now.

Instead, we’ve adapted.

Today, we meet them where they are — through Camp Dreamland in Ukraine and alongside displaced children living in group homes in Poland. The need has grown. The number of vulnerable children has grown. But so has our resolve.

The war is still going on.
The children are still there.
And so are we.

Frontier Horizon remains committed to bringing hope, stability, and joy wherever we can.
