SCHOOL IS OUT, BUT LEARNING NEVER STOPS AT CASAUPENDO! Our children are finally home for the holidays, and their days are already filled with excitement, creativity, laughter, and learning!

At Casaupendo, we believe that every child deserves more than a safe home and an education. Every child deserves the opportunity to discover their talents, develop valuable skills, and build a brighter future.

This holiday season, our children have begun their Life Skills Program, where they are learning computer skills, sewing, arts and crafts, gardening, baking, and cooking. They are also enjoying wonderful moments reading books in our library. Every skill they learn is a seed of hope planted for tomorrow. Thank you for helping make these dreams possible!

THE ALLISON & LESLIE FRUIT ORCHARD. A LEGACY THAT WILL KEEP GROWING! Some gifts are enjoyed for a moment. Others keep giving for generations.

During their time at Casaupendo, Allison Penza Sims and Leslie Wathen led our children in planting several fruit trees and lovingly called this special place a Fruit Orchard.

They planted more than trees, they planted hope, nourishment, memories, and a living legacy. Years from now, our children will sit under these trees, enjoy their fruits, and remember the two beautiful souls who traveled thousands of miles to Kenya and planted alongside them.

Allison and Leslie, thank you for getting your hands in the soil with our children and leaving something behind that will continue growing long after your visit.

Our children are settled in school and ready to learn! We are incredibly grateful that our children are currently in school with their tuition fees paid and the educational supplies they need, thanks to the generosity of our wonderful donors and supporters.

A very special thank you to Allison Penza Sims, and Leslie Wathen, who not only visited our children in their schools and took time to speak with their teachers, but also personally purchased educational supplies for the children. Your kindness went beyond giving, you showed up, listened, encouraged, and invested in their future.

155 CHILDREN. 155 BEAUTIFUL SMILES. ONE LASTING LEGACY. What a beautiful day at Casaupendo! 155 children showed up for our Dental Health Outreach, and our hearts are overflowing with gratitude.

A very special thank you to Allison and Leslie for taking the time to teach the children how to brush their teeth properly and understand the importance of good dental hygiene. Thank you also for blessing the children with toothbrushes and toothpaste simple gifts that made an extraordinary difference.

For several of the children who joined us today, this was their very first time brushing their teeth. What many of us may consider an everyday routine became a new and unforgettable experience for them.

Allison and Leslie, you didn’t just give toothbrushes and toothpaste today, you gave knowledge, dignity, healthier smiles, and a life skill these children can carry with them for years to come.

Thank you for creating a legacy that will live far beyond your time here. Every time these children pick up their toothbrushes, a little piece of the love you shared today will remain.

Together, we are changing lives, one child, one smile, and one act of love at a time.

A SPECIAL THANK YOU TO ALLISON SIMS & LESLIE WATHEN. Some acts of love require us to cross oceans. Our hearts at Casaupendo Orphanage are overflowing with gratitude as we welcome our beloved Board Member, Allison Sims, and Leslie Wathen to Kitale, Kenya.

Thank you, Allison and Leslie, for taking time away from your families, responsibilities, and busy schedules to travel thousands of miles not simply to visit, but to serve, love, listen, encourage, and pour into the lives of our children and our community.

Allison, your love for Casaupendo has never been measured by distance. You have believed in our children, stood with our mission, and carried them in your heart from across the ocean. Having you finally here, walking where they walk, holding their hands, hearing their laughter, and seeing their dreams with your own eyes is a moment we will treasure forever.
