Warrior For Life Fundยฎ | 501(c)(3) We are a Persistent Presence of support. The Warrior for Life Fund is dedicated to supporting active duty, retired veterans, and their families as they transition through the unique challenges of combat service. The Warrior for

Life Fund is focused on raising funds for, and providing leadership to local adult and youth hockey programs. The Warrior for Life Fund seeks to professionalize and expand existing hockey programs that support not only the Naval Special Warfare community but also the greater military community of the Hampton Roads area. Originally founded as the Virginia Beach Hockey Club, Challenge Team in 2012, the VBHC focused on providing the Hampton Roads military community a forum to develop a team atmosphere and a positive environment for mentors and all athletes who want to learn to play hockey. The VBHC was committed to promoting camaraderie, competition, and athleticism to those with and without disabilities. The only requirement was a strong work ethic, dedication, and a positive attitude.

Join Warrior For Life Fund on Saturday, Sept. 19 at Great Park Ice for an afternoon of hockey, community and support for our military and veteran families.

We are honored to have a Warrior For Life Fund jersey permanently displayed at SEAL Team FIVE, bearing the name Nicholas Spehar.

Our connection to the Spehar family runs deep. Through the years, WFLF has been honored to help carry Nicholasโ€™ legacy forward, including through Face Off For Heroes, bringing together his family, the Naval Special Warfare community, veterans and teammates through hockey, remembrance and fellowship.

This jersey represents our organization; it represents a relationship built through shared loss, enduring friendship, and a commitment to never forget the warriors and families who remain at the heart of our mission.

We are grateful to the Spehar family and to the men and women of SEAL Team FIVE for allowing Warrior For Life Fund to remain part of that legacy.

Weโ€™re expanding care.

Ryan, Dave and Chris got a firsthand look at the expansion underway at the Warrior For Life Fund Human Performance Center in Virginia Beach.

The expansion will increase our capacity to meet the growing need for care, treatment and continued support for our warriors and their families.

This progress is possible because of the generous support of our friends at New Balance.
