I learned yesterday that the builder who has a contract on the Wycliffe property is NOT planning on building a new pond, as originally proposed. He plans to fill in the existing pond at the head of Great Neck Lake and provide no new storm water drainage pond. This is very bad news for the health of our lake as the natural filtration from land and then the pond will be eliminated.

Exciting info coming from the GNLA Board last night! Plans for a Spring Fishing Tournament are underway. Our summer paddle-out is on the books for June 18th. And there was discussion about the prospective builder on the Wycliffe land. We will be coverting this page to a Facebook Group to allow for all members to make posts, in hopes to share more photos and to have open communication within our community. Expect to see invites coming your way on Monday and please share to other lakefront owners. Have a great weekend! PS This fish are biting!!
