Virginia is facing a mental health crisis. You can help make positive changes by joining our advocacy team. Our next meeting is Tuesday, June 16th at 6 p.m. at the NAMI Coastal Virginia office: 291 Independence Blvd, Pembroke Office Park, Building 4, Suite 225, Virginia Beach 23462.
Join others who are frustrated with Virginia's mental health system. Help educate the public, eliminate stigma and push for the support and programs that need to be implemented. Your involvement, whether large or small, in front or behind the scenes, is crucial.
We'll talk about both small and large initiatives, and listen to your ideas about ways in which you would like to be involved. Light refreshments will be available.

Join us for an engaging presentation and interactive discussion that helps the community learn about the warning signs of mental health conditions and what steps to take if you or a loved one needs help or support.
The presentation will include personal testimony from a youth or young adult with lived experience. The presentation's message of empathy and hope encourages all to actively care for themselves and their loved ones.
