Trash Collection in Magic Hollow will go on as scheduled tomorrow. BUT, do not put out your recycling can, or any bulky pickup or yard debris. They will NOT be picked up. Please take the time to make sure you are not blocking water flow in the streets with trash, high grass etc. Check your nearest city sewer drain for obstructions.

In anticipation of a possible tropical storm, please make sure your curbs are clear of debris, yard bags and heavy weeds which will impede the flow of water to the storm drains.

Due to the pending storms this weekend, the annual yard sale as been postponed till the 26th. The garbage dumpsters will be moved to the 26th as well.

This time of year, we see an uptick in people discarding trash on common ground. These are 2 examples, discarded fence posts after installing a new fence, or putting waste out in a non-pickup zone. We also had people dropping significant other trash including branches. Keep in mind, removing this and disposing of the trash/branches/etc costs all property owners money. The city does not pick this up, your association must pay, therefore it is money that must come from our budget and we can reduce services or raise fees. Where possible, we WILL bill the property owner. If you witness any of these actions, please notify Kim. Together we can make a difference.

As of today, we welcome our new Management company, VSA Association Management. They will be taking over the operations, management, inspections, etc. of our community association. We welcome a fresh face and look forward to continuous improvement in our community. You should be receiving a letter shortly with the details, and encourage you to return the enclosed form. One of our goals is an increased move to online communications and operations including correspondence and payment of fees. This will help in reducing overall costs.

We look forward to a good relationship between owners, renters and VSA. In the meantime, any problems, concerns, call 333-9249, ask for Kimberly.

Effective March 1st, our Homeowner's Association will be managed by VSA Association Management. You will shortly be getting a letter in the mail detailing the changes. Until then however, all fees and items should still be directed to our currently management firm. Don't forget, annual dues are due by January 31st. You can plan on meeting our new manager at our annual meeting on February 12th at Plaza Middle school and we will be having a Q & A on any issues.

One of our neighbors in Magic Hollow Community Association lost her home and all her possessions in a devastating electrical fire this week. If you could help at all, please consider donating to this family.
