Our Monthly TRIAD Meeting at Marion Manor Saturday was amazing as those in attendance received an awesome and amazing presentation from an expert on Frauds and Scams Shawn Smith, Senior Medical Patrol. His presentation was amazing and provided those in attendance the latest and greatest information not only on the Frauds and Scams out there but the precautions on how to prevent them.

Good morning Seniors and if you were in attendance for the Monthly TRIAD Meeting at Marion Manor yesterday you received an amazing and informative presentation by an expert on Frauds and Scams Shawn Smith, Senior Medical Patrol. We had an awesome speaker at our TRIAD meeting in March. We were visited by Me. Benjamin Bickle State Coordinator for the Office of the Attorney General who briefed us of the new OAG elected officials, their goals and upcoming TRIAD Conference. Our guest speaker, a Amblatory Care Pharmacy Resident with Sentara Medical Group who provided an amazing presentation on High Blood Pressure/High Cholestrol. Presentation was amazing, informative and well received. Mark your calendars for April 18th as our guest speaker is Shawn Smith, State Director, Virginia Senior Medicare Patrol on Frauds and Scams. You won't want to miss this presentation to keep you safe!!!

We had an excellent presentation by Dr Okhravi and Dr. Niknejad and Madelyn Dunston and the EVMS Team on Alzheimers disease which affects over 165,000 seniors. Those in attendance not only received an awesome presentation but displays were provided by Oak Street Health, TRIAD and the Alzheimers Association. Our 50/50 raffle winner Valerie Artis who graciously donated the money back to TRIAD!!
