Today is Indigenous Peoples Day, a day to honor and recognize the rich histories, cultures, and contributions of Indigenous communities.

As we continue to move towards creating inclusive communities, we must hold space for respecting history, heritage, and the lasting impact of the past. Today is a reminder of the importance of respecting those who have helped created the world we live in today, as well as celebrating their resilience and wisdom.

Volunteer Opportunity for Tuesday, October 13th 💙

We are gearing up for our renovations, and we need your help getting the space renovation ready. Tuesday, during our typical hours of 10am-4pm, we are looking for volunteers to help pack up the spare rooms, and organize it all in pods.

We are also looking for box donations that we can use. Please drop off any boxes you have to out center on Monday between 9am-4pm.

Our Ability Scouts have been on some fall adventures through Shenandoah 🍁

This week, we had two groups go hiking in Charlottesville, VA, where they got to take in the beautiful mountain scenery and go apple picking. With the leaves changing colors, weather being perfectly chilly, and friendly company, we had some perfect fall days.
