We had a beautiful celebration with parents, school staff, and community partners as we wrapped up this year’s Parent Connection programming at Ruffner and PB Young! There was great food, fellowship, and a whole lot of love for our amazing parents.

Families received gift bags, balloons, door prizes, and Parent Connection T‑shirts for consistent participation. It was a joyful way to honor their commitment and to close out the year on a strong foundation for what’s ahead.

Project Inclusion prepares participants to serve on local boards and commissions by sharpening leadership and management skills and growing their professional networks.

Teacher Appreciation Day - One of our favorite days of the year!!

Last Friday, we blessed the amazing teachers and staff at Booker T. Washington High School with ChickFilA minis, danishes, bagels, juices and LOVE and KINDNESS!!

A great big THANK YOU to all the BTWHS teachers and staff and to all NPS school teachers and staff. THANK YOU for educating, mentoring, and pouring into our future leaders!

Shout‑out to the Booker T. Washington students who spent their afternoon making their school shine!

This beautification project wasn’t just about cleaning up — it was about teamwork, responsibility, and giving back to the place they call home - Values Based Leadership in ACTION!

Each student earned 2 community service hours, and we are grateful for their commitment to positive change.

And, an alumni showed up with a truck to haul the 45 bags of yard waste to the dumpsters behind the school for us!!!

A special shout-out to Home Depot on Sandbridge Rd. in Virginia Beach, who donated $100 worth of supplies for this project!
