And we now enter a new chapter of Irish in Virginia as we embrace the European Union diaspora and ramp up the craic. Over the last year, we have invited more and more groups to enjoy the Irish ways and love of a good conversation, a laugh, and friendship. At any of the Irish in Virginia gatherings (from pubs to parks and everything in between) you will be surrounded by a group of folks who are happy to be together, argue over religion and politics and end the night in song, are supportive of musos of all kinds, and hope to keep the best of Irish culture alive and well in the Hampton Roads area. Come join in on the St Patrick's Day parade, the Christmas parties, the Hampton International Children's Festival and more..... We sing, we dance, we go to shows.....
