Charles Barker Champions For Kids

Charles Barker Champions for Kids is a charity organization formed to facilitate fundraising opportunities to benefit children in Hampton Roads and beyond.

Our vision is to have local businesses join us in supporting organizations in Hampton Roads that focus their energy and resources on nurturing the next generation. Together, we can build a stronger community and a brighter future for the children. We host two signature events each year: an invitational golf tournament and a charity auction. The prestigious Golf Tournament is held at the Princess A

nne Country Club, and the Charity Auction is at Chick's Oyster Bar in Virginia Beach. The sponsorships of these events and the funds raised at the auction are the foundation of our fundraising success. Join the Charles Barker Automotive team in spreading warmth this season! Our Annual Coat Drive is officially underway, and we’re collecting new and gently used winter weather gear for K–12 students in need.

We’re accepting coats, jackets, hats, gloves, scarves, and warm socks — all sizes from youth to adult. Cash donations are also welcome.

📅 Drop off your donations by December 22, 2025
📍 Donation bins are located inside our Virginia Beach stores:

• Charles Barker Used Car Warehouse
• Charles Barker Commercial Van RV & Truck Center

All items will directly support the Boys & Girls Clubs of Southeastern Virginia , helping ensure every child stays warm this winter.

⛳ Today’s the day! The 31st Annual Creech-Malbon Memorial Golf Tournament kicks off with a 12PM shotgun start at Princess Anne Country Club.

As we gather on the course, we pause to honor the memories of Dean Hurst, Richard “Rick” Westbrook, Kenneth “Ken” Hall, Wayne Sawyer, Bennie Reves Wiley Jr., and John Franklin “Logan” Harris—true champions whose generosity, leadership, and love for the game continue to inspire us all. 💙
