The Virginia Zoo in Norfolk is extending free admission for federal employees beginning Saturday, Nov. 8 (which is going to be a beautiful day! ☀️) and "until further notice" while the government shutdown continues.
Federal ID required for admission, and guests who come in with the employee will get 50% off their tickets.
"The Virginia Zoo appreciates the valuable work done by federal employees and sympathizes with the families impacted by the government shutdown. With this offer, the Zoo hopes to continue to bring joy and connection to their Hampton Roads community in light of these trying times."
