Log dumping

If anyone is aware of any trees that were cut down in our community, likely on or before Christmas Eve, please report it to the civic league. We will share it with the Police Department so they can pursue finding the person’s involved in the logs and stumps that were dumped. There is a picture of the truck with trailer driving through our community on the day this occurred. Vehicle appears to be a white duly truck pulling a trailer.

It is likely that whoever dumped the trees was a contractor who would not be paid until the tree debris was removed. The fees to dump the debris legally would have likely been $1000/+. The trees were not useable for firewood, requiring their disposal. Whoever did this will likely do it again.

Alert! A white truck pulling logs dumped them on the road and ditches overnight. If you live on or near the following streets and have a security camera please check it from overnight. Report any suspicious activity to the 4th police precinct. Please contact the civic league with anymore information.

Andover - between Rittman Rd and Minden (logs were dumped and still remain on side of road)
Alton Drive - from Burlington and Rittman rd (logs were dumped at the corner of 1100 Burlington and Alton Drive (logs were removed)
If you have security cameras please check the footage and share it with the Police. City of Va Beach removed the logs from Alton but have not removed logs from Andover.

Alert! Break-ins

We are starting to have break-ins in our neighborhood. Please be aware of anyone on our streets that you do not recognize as an Acredale resident. If you are not sure please call me the Police Department. There has been one break-in in the 1200 block of M8nden Road.
