A big milestone for Norfolk International Airport took place this week 🙌

The Norfolk Airport Authority completed a $137.5M airport revenue bond sale to finance a new Consolidated Rental Car Facility (ConRAC) at ORF — a major investment aimed at improving the traveler experience and supporting the region’s continued growth.

Set to break ground this summer, the 438,000-square-foot facility will feature nearly 1,500 rental car parking spaces plus onsite vehicle cleaning and refueling operations. Once the ConRAC opens in early 2028, two floors of ORF’s Garage A will become available for public parking use.

The project is designed to help ORF meet increasing passenger demand after four consecutive years of record traffic and is a significant infrastructure step forward for one of Virginia’s fastest-growing airports.

Bonds sold this week will be repaid through Customer Facility Charges assessed to those who rent vehicles at ORF.

Meet Delaney Roy, a Civil Analyst at Kimley-Horn based out of Chesapeake, VA. A 2023 graduate of Old Dominion University with a degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering, Delaney specializes in site and infrastructure design for industrial and airport projects, with additional experience in construction phase services.
Outside of work, she enjoys cooking and baking.

📣 New Member Spotlight: Jen Coradi

Jen Coradi is a Business Development professional at Core 22 Design Build, where she specializes in building client relationships and guiding commercial projects from early concept through preconstruction. Her career path — from event planning and hospitality into commercial interiors and eventually design-build — gave her a rare blend of people-first instincts and deep technical fluency in construction drawings and building plans.

Jen is passionate about work that shapes the local built environment and brings that same commitment to her community involvement. She has served as a Board Member of HRACRE since 2021 and has been an active volunteer with Hope House Foundation since 2007.

Outside of work, Jen is a mom to Madeleine, age 2.5, and Piper, a very spirited dog.
