It's May Ya'll........
I've been at my new home for 3 months, yet due to work schedule and traveling, I have yet to unpack most of my personal belongings. The servers and main studio workflow rigs are up and running, while most of my simulation gear is still in crates.
Those aside, A quick update on the state of my projects:
- CJS Super Hornets,
Work resumed on CJS Super Hornets w/ bringing the code for 2.4 Core/Pilot modules up to date w/ the current DCS World versions. Work resumes on coding CJS Super Hornets 2.5 w/ the new cockpits and some updated displays/systems.
- SZS F-5E Expansion,
The workflow hasnt been touched since December, so right now I am importing the data into my workflow management that I've made for the CJS Project, this will allow me to update the project quicker and maintain it along side the CJS Projects. Right now I've converted what I've had to a Core AI, from there I will continue to develop the weapons declarations and implement the coding format and styles that I've used for the CJS Project. From that save point, I need to code up the Player Modules, for the three flyable versions (DCS: F-5E, FCS: F-5E, and DCS: F-5E Remastered), with the latter being the most difficult to implement as it uses protected EDM Asset Files, and adjusted Positioning of the addon attachment elements due to shape difference.
- DCS Updater / Launcher:
I've slowly been re-writing some of the core, looking for the threading issues. Once I've finished with that I will need to render some UI graphics and add the new module information to the internal tables. I have no time frame for this, as time is still pretty limited.
- Livery Projects,
Mainly F/A-18C and F-86F.. All of these will resume at sometime later in the year once time is able to be allotted.
