Kallós (cal-los) is the non-gender, ancient Greek word and concept for internal and external beauty. The Calos Coalition is an organization bringing together Trans, Q***r and Allied folks to fight the rising tide of genocidal anti-trans rhetoric through sharing trans joy and excellence to fundraise and provide direct assistance to those trans folks in need here in the United States. We also work w

ith and commission trans and q***r creators and business' to elevate trans and q***r excellence and work to educate and spread positive messages about trans families and trans experiences. And not just by vapid external measures, but by Calos... that internal and external synchronization, that joyous feeling of Being yourself. That Joy... our Trans Joy... THAT is what will endure and defeat the rising tide of hate, bigotry and paid media ignorance. And that is what the Calos Coalition is all about!

Trans Family Dinner is BACK next Sunday from 5-8 PM at the Norfolk Botanical Gardens. There will be no entry fee to get to the botanical gardens. We will be offering boxed sandwiches and a variety of sides. There will be vegan and gluten free sandwiches available. Can't wait to see everyone again to gather in community 💜💐🏳️‍⚧️

The Trans Family Dinner is in a financial crisis, and we need your support to help keep these dinners going! We love our trans siblings and their families and want to continue to provide these dinners. But the food costs around $1000 per dinner, and we've recently lost our biggest donors. We want to keep creating this safe space for our community, but we need your help! This is why we are trying to fundraise 10k to go towards the Trans Family Dinner. 💜💜💜

Help us protect transgender Virginians and submit a public comment to the Virginia Board of Health BEFORE December 17.

Action 4905 would create a state rule that:
1. Blocks transgender girls and women from playing on girls’ or women’s sports teams or joining female-only competitions
2. Bans transgender women and girls from using spaces labeled “female” where someone might be changing clothes, such as locker rooms or similar facilities.
