Welcome Home, USS San Antonio! ⚓️🐾

Today, our VA team, Erin & Apollo, had the distinct honor of welcoming home the crew of the USS San Antonio after an 11-month deployment!

There is nothing quite like providing tail-wagging comfort to our sailors as they step back onto home soil. From sporting official ship caps to visiting with crew members along the pier, our awesome CCC team were hard at work delivering love and gratitude to those who serve.

Thank you to the outstanding sailors of the USS San Antonio for your dedicated service and sacrifice during this extended deployment. 🇺🇸💚

Building strong roots in our community starts with strong partnerships! 💙🤝

We are beyond grateful to Chief Safran and the team for their amazing gift from their "Beards Behind the Badges" initiative. Beyond the donation, we are most thankful for the deep friendship and trust we’ve built together to support our community.

Thank you, Brunswick PD, for everything you do and standing with us as we continue to provide comfort, calm, and care when it matters most. 🐾💚

Zendaya is currently in training to be a future CCC member. She was generously donated to our organization by a wonderful local breeder, and she is already following in her big brothers' pawsteps.

We are STILL absolutely blown away by the incredible generosity of the Northern Medina County Chamber Alliance being named this year’s 50/50 raffle recipient! 💚

This means so much to all of us at Crisis Canine Corps. The evening was a blast—the food was amazing, the team spirit was high, and it was wonderful connecting with so many familiar faces and local partners again.

A huge thank you to NMCCA, Transitional Living Centers, Inc., and everyone who contributed to support our mission! 🐾✨

We wrapped up an incredible day at the Strongsville Business Expo! A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by the Crisis Canine Corps booth to say hello, meet our dogs, and learn more about our mission.

We loved connecting with so many local business owners, first responders, and community members, and it was a privilege to share how our teams bring comfort, calm, and care when it matters most. 🐾💚

When traumatic events impact a community, supporting those who answer the call is vital.

Today, our Crisis Canine Corps teams traveled to Erie, PA to bring comfort, calm, and care to the individuals supporting the community.

We started our day at the UPMC Health Plan Neighborhood Center before spending time with the incredible 911 dispatchers who process critical calls behind the scenes.

We ended our visit with the Erie Police Department, connecting with the officers who responded to Friday evening's call.

First responders bear an unseen weight when duty calls, and being able to sit with these officers, offer a moment of quiet connection, and let our crisis response dogs do what they do best was an honor.

To every first dispatcher, officer, and community partner in Erie—thank you for your dedication, your resilience, and for welcoming our teams with open arms. We are keeping you all in our thoughts. 🐾💚

“I mean, I think it's just important that we all stand together in this time of crisis and tragedy and I just wanted to physically be here, to support, to support the community"

When crisis strikes, timing and readiness are everything.

A traumatic event deeply affected the Erie, PA community. Today, within 2 hours of notice, our CISM trained teams were on the road, driving two hours to be on the ground where we were needed most.

Our teams are specifically trained to step into high-stress, post-crisis environments to provide immediate support, comfort, calm, and care to individuals facing unimaginable circumstances.

We are incredibly proud of our teams who dropped everything at a moment's notice to show up, support, and help begin the process of healing. To the Erie community—we stand with you. 💚
