Dear Brunswick Community,

Our hearts are heavy along with the rest of the Brunswick community as we navigate this incredibly difficult time.

To everyone hurting, processing, and grieving: please know that you do not have to carry this weight alone.

Tomorrow, our Crisis Canine Corps teams will be present at the wake.

Our teams are there solely to offer comfort, a quiet moment of peace, and a gentle, unconditional supportive presence for the family, friends, classmates, and anyone who needs it.

If you see one of our canines, please feel free to lean on them, pet them, hug them, talk to them. Whether you need a moment to sit quietly, pet a dog, or simply take a deep breath, we are here for you. 💚

There are no words to fully capture the heartbreak the Brunswick community is feeling after losing one of their students. In times of such profound grief, words often fall short, but sometimes a quiet, comforting presence is exactly what is needed.

Crisis Canine Corps teams showed up on school grounds of Brunswick Middle School first thing this morning to be that presence. When moments like this occur, we are right there with our teams.

"Sometimes, the smallest paws leave the biggest footprints on our hearts." 🐾

To the students, families, and staff: please know that you do not have to carry this grief alone, our four-legged friends are here to support you through this time whenever you need 💚

About 6 years ago I started a journey that opened up many avenues for me, getting Zodiac, and within those years I have formed a relationship with his breeder (Highland Akitas) and family.

Mary has continously been in awe of the work that Zodiac and I have done as a team and the positive impact we bring.

In a few years Zodiac will be retiring, so in his replacement Mary has so generously offered to donate a puppy from her current litter to Crisis Canine Corps so I can keep continuing the work I am so passionate about.

Behind every successful event, every visit, and every smile we bring, there is a dedicated team of volunteers who give their absolute all.

Our CCC Teams stand together united by a shared commitment to service, compassion, and volunteerism. Whether they are standing on the greens at the Canine Classic or comforting individuals in times of crisis, these teams give selflessly their time, energy, and hearts.

Being a therapy dog team takes immense dedication. It means hours of training, practicing, and maintaining the highest standards to ensure our four-legged friends can provide the best possible support to our community.

Our volunteers don't just show up, they pour their passion into everything they do, and we couldn't be more proud of the impact they make every single day.

While every volunteer is a vital piece of our puzzle, Crisis Canine Corps wouldn't be where it is today without the vision, passion, and tireless drive of our leadership - Shirley, Kerri, Erin, and Kayla.

What an incredible day at the Canine Classic! 🤩

Yesterday, our amazing community came together for our annual golf outing and we are absolutely blown away by your generosity!

Because of our fantastic golfers, sponsors, and volunteers, we raised an incredible $7,367.41 to support the mission of Crisis Canine Corps! 🥳👏🏼

These funds will go directly toward helping our dedicated teams to continue bringing comfort, calm, and care when it matters most.
