Legends of the Fly, VB Legends of the Fly in Virgina Beach is raising awareness of fly fishing in our waters while providing funds to charities.
(1)

For the past 5 years, Legends of the Fly has sought to grow the sport of fly fishing locally via hosting the fly fishing film tour, our fly fishing exclusive tournament and other various events. All money raised from events is donated to both local and national charities. We have hosted various fly fishing celebrities including Chico Fernandez, ,Stu Apte, Andy Mill and the Abel Women. The board members are all local anglers that have a common love of both fresh and saltwater fly fishing.

More Than Just a Fly Fishing Tournament…

Legends of the Fly events are about more than catching fish, they are about serving those who served us. Every tournament, trip, and donation helps get veterans on the water, connected with fellow veterans, volunteer captains, and a supportive community.
Funds help remove barriers by covering essentials such as travel, lodging, meals, fishing access, tackle, and flies. More importantly, they create opportunities for veterans to relax, reconnect, build friendships, and continue their healing journey.

SAVE THE DATE!!!! LIKE NOW!!!

Clear your calendars for October 24th!
The Legends of the Fly tournament is an opportunity to come together, enjoy a great day on the water, support our veteran community, and help make future veteran fishing experiences possible.
Sign up for the tournament, invite your friends, and help us make this our strongest turnout yet. Every registration supports the mission: getting veterans on the water and giving back to those who served us.
